Climate change impacts health in many ways, includingthrough increased air pollution, extreme climate events, and vector and water borne illnesses. Poor Communities, which lack basic infrastructure and resources to adapt, are most vulnerable. This vulnerability is linked to global development choices and inequities. Tackling the political, financial, institutional and intellectual challenges of climate change requires good strategic choice about the best use of resources by the health, climate and development communities. this workshop aims to improve understanding of how to respond to the health impact of climate change. it will include brief presentation followed by group discussion to country specific advocacy plans.
