Betreff: Invitation to informal dialogue on WHO Reform



Dear colleagues,



As part of the WHO reform process and following the informal consultation
in December 2011 and the web consultation during the month of February
2012, we kindly invite you to take part in an informal dialogue on the WHO
consolidated reform document and the draft Twelfth General Programme of
Work. These documents will be presented to Member States at the 65th World
Health Assembly in May this year. As you may already be well aware, the
consolidated reform document is the result of a one year long Member State
driven process that started after a decision at the Executive Board last
May. The documents will be posted on the WHO website the end of this week
and we will forward them to you as soon as they have been made available.



The dialogue will take place at WHO headquarters in Salle C, 14.00-17.00 on
Wednesday 2 May 2012.



We would like to present the consolidated reform document and hear your
views on the different issues of the WHO Reform that will be discussed in
May, in particular the widening engagement of stakeholders. The road map
for effective stakeholder engagement will be included in the report.



We look forward to having a chance to meet and discuss some of these
matters and we would very much appreciate if you could confirm to us
whether you will be able to attend this informal dialogue. To facilitate
access to the building we kindly ask you to confirm your participation in
the meeting by Friday 27 April.
