*Launch of Global Health Watch 3: *An Alternative World Health Report



An alternate vision of health located in a vision of equity, rights and
empowerment. A collaborative civil society initiative, co-ordinated by
the Peoples
Health Movement, Medact, Medicos International, Health Action International
and Third World Network. The Global Health Watch is contributed to by
researchers, academics and activists from across the globe.

[image: *]        Takes a view of current issues and debates on health
systems.

[image: *]        Discusses issues beyond Health Care – the different
determinants of health

[image: *]        Watches global processes and institutions that are
crucially important for health and health care

success and resistance



*Announcing Peoples Health Assembly 3 (PHA3):* Cape Town, 6-11 July, 2012

The People’s Health Assembly is an opportunity for health activists across
the world to analyze global health, share experiences and define a way
forward for the global movement towards Health for All. More than thousand
health professionals, activists, grass roots organizations, academics and
individuals will gather in Cape Town to attend the PHA3.
