The *People’s Health Movement (PHM) *is a global network bringing together
health activists from around the world to exchange and works towards a world
where ‘Health for All’ is a reality.

Equity, ecologically‐sustainable development and peace are at the heart of
our vision of a better  world ‐ a world in which a healthy life for all is a
reality; a world that respects, appreciates and celebrates all life and
diversity; a world that enables the flowering of people's talents and
abilities to enrich each other; a world in which people's voices guide the
decisions that shape our lives.



PHM stands for togetherness, Ubuntu, community and solidarity. PHM is about
finding solutions together and sharing stories, experiences and ideas to
achieve health for all. It is about linking local with global and stands for
one world where everybody has the opportunity to live a decent and healthy
life.



The *Peoples Health Assembly (PHA) *is a global event bringing people from
around the world together to celebrate the movement and share experiences.


*In July 2012 the 3rd global PHA will be held in Cape Town, South Africa!*

*The PHM invites you to design a logo for the assembly. This logo will be
used in all advertising, communication and materials related to the event.
It will be seen by people all over the world. **This is an opportunity to
showcase the spirit of Africa to the world, its diversity, music,
colours,  people
and values of community! Now it is time for Africa to show the world its
spirit, ideals and beauty!*



Some key words for inspiration: People, health, climate change, education,
community, globalization, celebration, Africa, music, Ubuntu and life



*The deadline for submission is 30th of September 2011 and there is a cash
price of R1000.* For practical information on the Logo Design Competition,
