Following the United Nations' recent recognition of a human "right to
water," the UN Global Compact CEO Water Mandate and the Pacific Institute
have issued a white paper, The Human Right to Water: Emerging Corporate
Practice and Stakeholder Expectations, that is designed to provide
information that will inform individual companies how to respect the human
