We had a meeting in Berlin, last September, dealing with issues of Global
Health Education and the PHM in Europe. We're having a follow up meeting
next December 4th-5th. Please find below the final invitation email that I
sent out today.
Dear all,
following previous announcements concerning our next meeting in Berlin, to
discuss issues related to Global Health Education (GHE) and the People's
Health Movement in Europe, we are now happy to release the official
invitation. Please find attached the final program of the event: as you will
see, thanks to the contributions and suggestions coming from several among
you, we planned different sessions covering relevant topics: the meeting is
meant to be an open laboratory for joint discussion and work; there will be
plenary sessions for introduction to the works and final discussion and
conclusions, and a core part dedicated to working in groups on issues
dealing with GHE and the PHM in Europe.
A few more details about the event:
- *Time*: 14:00 on Saturday to 14:00 on Sunday
- *Venue*: Rathaus Schöneberg, John-F.-Kennedy-Platz 1, 10825 Berlin (Casino
Room)
- *Registration* (which is of course free of charge!):

We'd very much appreciate it if you could *register as soon as possible, and
in any case before Tuesday, November 30th*: we need to know how many people
will attend in order to finalize the last logistic details.
Als0, if you know people who might be interested in participating, please
feel free to circulate this invitation.
Finally, please note that - as previously announced - Medico International
has kindly offered travel subsidies: if you would like to apply, please
contact Andreas Wulf (wulf at medico.de).
We look forward to seeing many of you in Berlin!
