Social Medicine has just published its latest issue at
www.socialmedicine.info. This issue provides extensive coverage (in
English) of the recent meeting of the Latin American Social Medicine
Association (ALAMES) in Bogota. In addition we present original research
regarding primary care in Barbados, an anthropological investigation of
bariatric surgery from Murcia, Spain and an examination of socialist health
care reforms in Bolivia and Ecuador.

2009 was a good year for our journals (Social Medicine and Medicina Social)
with over 96,000 individual articles downloaded from our sites. We look
forward to your articles and comments in 2010.

We invite you to review the Table of Contents here and then visit our web
site to review articles and items of interest.

Thanks for the continuing interest in our work,
