Just wanted to update the group about Wikipedia's policy on "Conflict of
Interest". The encyclopedia (in good interest) discourages (not prohibitive)
editing of articles by people with a close association with the subject of
the article. Nonetheless, there is nothing wrong in beginning the article
and putting in verifiable information about the subject of the article from
credible and secondary (not related to the subject) sources. The article in
its present form does have credible, reliable and secondary sources. In
addition, the article also seems to have survived a deletion process within
Wikipedia, as the people who supported the article clearly indicated the
notability of the subject. (See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/People's_Health_Movement
)<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/People's_Health_Movement>
I have long been an editor on Wikipedia (Anyone can be, of course) and would
be taking up the task of improving the article based on credible and
reliable sources. Those of you who have some good sources or references
(newspaper articles, peer reviewed publications or credible magazine
articles) can paste links to these on the talk page of the article (

Also, for the benefit of those who want to know about the Wikipedia policies
relevant to this article - here is the list:
