*ADVERTSEMENT FOR THE POST OF PROGRAMME MANAGER for ADVOCACY AND CAPACITY-BUILDING

The Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women (ARROW) is looking for an inspired individual to fill the post of Programme Manager for Advocacy and Capacity-building.

The post will require programme management experience, strategic advocacy planning and implementation experience, and the development and coordination of capacity-building programmes related to ARROW's work in evidence-based policy advocacy. 

The person would also be tasked with the management of ARROW's regional and international partnership building work for implementing strategic advocacy engagements at local, national and international levels.   

The following selection criteria will apply for the post: 

a.	Practical working experience and theoretical familiarity of the issues related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, especially within the Asia Pacific context; 
b.	Have relevant experience in the required diplomacy, management capacities and communications skills required for multi-country partnership development; 
c.	Have at least 5 years of regional or international programme management experience, and a proven ability for strategic advocacy planning and implementation; 
d.	Experience in managing capacity building programmes and advocacy campaigns or initiatives.  
e.	Experience in budget management and in strategically determining budget priorities so that organisational objectives are achieved; 
f.	Skills and attitudes for participatory and transparent programme management; 
g.	Experienced in fund-raising and proposal writing.

The Programme Manager is expected to: 

a.	Have a minimum of five years experience related to the above capacities. 
b.	Be willing to be expatriated to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 
c.	Be able to commit to at least 2 years within the organization. 
d.	Be willing to travel extensively in the region. 
e.	Have a commitment to women's health and rights from a feminist perspective.
