Yesterday, on the International Human Rights Day, the Optional Protocol to
the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights was
officially adopted by the General Assembly plenary with consensus.

The 36 UN Special Rapporteurs and Independent Experts issued a joint welcome
