I am perplexed! Why it is necessary to make virtual signatures to a
Universal Declaration? What would it achieve? The 1 billion supposed
signatories would have already known about UDHR and have access to internet.

Secondly, just signing the UDHR can not absolve people with worst human
rights records. Even today's well-known Human Right violators and worst
war-mongers will be prepared to sign it. What possibly would it achieve?



Thirdly, UDHR was declared 60 years back by a handful of countries many of
those who were worst violators of Human Rights especially in the Third
World. It's high time that a serious revision of the UDHR is conducted
democratically with proper consultation with all the UN countries.

Revise and democratise UDHR now!
