*The voters clearly want a national healthcare program**.** * They want a
guaranteed, quality, single payer healthcare system that will free us from
the control of the profit-making corporate healthcare system.

  Never mind that the candidates haven't come out in support of a national *non
profit *guaranteed healthcare system yet -- a quality system for everybody.
But they will.  We have to help them make a clean break from the greed of
the profit-makers and their lobbyists !

 Our job is to find and elect as many progressive members of Congress as
possible all across the land, candidates committed to a single payer system
for all… we have to teach those presidential candidates how to say "no" to
corporate- controlled healthcare.  We can have a healthcare system that will
work for everyone and cost a lot less money if we remove the insurance
companies.  And, given the state of the economy,* those profiteers must be
removed if we are to be able to afford a truly comprehensive healthcare
system for all.*

 We can win this if we work together.

 During the coming year, Healthcare-NOW will be holding Memorial Vigils all
over the country remembering those who have died because they were refused
healthcare by insurance company denials.  Remember, the insurance companies
only make money when they deny claims.  *Death by spreadsheet!*

 We'll  be working together with local groups across the country helping to
organize Road Shows about national healthcare and holding Truth Hearings in
Boston, Oakland and Minneapolis exposing the "individual mandates" being
offered by both Democrats and Republicans -- those programs that would
mandate (force) everybody to purchase the insurance that is so faulty and
useless from the insurance companies – *those same insurance companies that
have served us so poorly.   *

    *Together, we can win this…I've never been more certain! *
