IPPH is pleased to announce the launch of the *Meetings, Planning and
Dissemination Grant program in Global Health research*. The specific
objective of this funding opportunity is to improve Canada's ability to
investigate and intervene on those underlying forces that challenge global
health, by exploring and establishing new collaborations with LMIC
researchers to collaboratively develop and apply global health knowledge for
evidence-informed policy and practice. Deadline for applications is *February

CIHR - Training Grant: *Strategic Training Initiative in Health Research*. In
this competition, funds are available to encourage and support applications
in specific area that are aligned with strategic research priorities, as
identified in the relevant research areas section. For information about
relevant research areas in Global Health Research please refer to the
Priority Area "K" of the Institute of Population and Public Health. LOI

 The Canadian Coalition is pleased to announce the call for applications for
the 5*th Summer Institute for New Global Health Researchers*, to be held in
partnership with *Network Environments for Aboriginal Research BC of the
University of Victoria, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  The Summer
Institute will be held at the *Quw'utsun' Cultural and Conference Centre
located in the Cowichan Valley, in the southeast corner of Vancouver Island

IRSC - Subvention de formation : *Initiative stratégique des IRSC pour la

conformes aux priorités de recherche stratégiques, tels qu'ils sont décrits
