Dear co journey friends

It is great to read expressions and wishes from friends who are traveling in
journey to wards health for all. In 2000 when Peoples health Assembly was
organised in Bangaladesh we were active in Madhya Pradesh, state of India.
We were a part of movement because we could not be in any other place except
here. During my studies in medical college I joined medical student movement
led by students federation of India. It was quite natural for me to remain
in social side of health movement and have not joined medical field as money
building professional.

I am highly inspired by PHM and activist who will work for health for all as
mission. I could not attend Peoples health assembly in Bangaladesh but have
gone through all reports and discussions took place there. I highly admire
work and movement done by Dr Zafarulla and Dr Quasim. I have heard about
them , met Dr Zafarulla and love him. I feel now PHM is in such position
where it can influence policies of WHO and can not be just left out unheard.
Its strength is is wast network, members, supporters through out world. May
this strength increase up to level where all countries are forced to
accept goal of health for all as declared in Alma Ata and this world may be
free of poverty and we live in healthy world.
