Doctors for Global Health (DGH), a PHM member,  wants to extend an
enthusiastic invitation to all of you to attend our first Annual General
Assembly held outside the United States, in the country where DGH was born.

*"Community to Community: Collaborating for Healthy, Peaceful and Just
Societies,"* will be held in San Salvador, El Salvador from October 25th -
31st.

*October 25th: one-day trip to Santa Marta
October 26th - 28th: General Assembly in San Salvador
October 29th - 31st: two-day trip to Estancia, El Mozote, and Perquin

We will have representatives from all of our partner communities with us to
share their successes and challenges. Keynote speakers include Dr. Juan
Manuel Canales and Dr. Sandy Smith-Nonini, PhD. Workshop titles include
"Global Challenges," "Community Autonomy and Health/Empowerment," "Local
meets Global," "Embracing the Feminine: Women's Relations," and "Activism
and Self-Promotion."

information about how to register.

If you cannot come, please consider sponsorship. Previous DGH Assemblies
have been self-supporting and this year, as always, attendees who are able
will pay their share of the conference cost. However, this year's Assembly
is unique in that our goal is to bring together people with extremely
limited finances, most from Latin America; therefore we will cover expenses
for their travel, lodging, food and conference registration.

We want to sponsor at least 100 community members. We need your help to
reach our goal. Sponsors will be acknowledged in our program booklet.

As you all know, Doctors for Global Health is a nongovernmental, nonprofit
