  Totally disagree. Sustainable development includes many lines of thought. The one you  (and MCh) present attacks only one: that of the World Bank.  
  To erradicate poverty, we need natural resurces.  If we destroy their sources, where are we going to get these resources from?  Redistribution could function in the short run, but either a socialist or a neoliberal system that does not protect the environment, is doomed.  There are plenty of examples....
