Just one more, tiny thought about this HRR. The MDGs aim to "halve poverty" by halving the proportion of those who earn below U$ 1 by 2015; this  is not only deeply insulting. It also seems to have a fundamental technical flaw. It neglects inflation:  By 2015,  the money may be worth only 2/3 of what it is worth today. Thus having U$1 by 2015 may mean having only -- 60 cents. Or am I getting this wrong?
