I can only make a strong plea  to abandon "improving it" if it looks as
if it is going to be too dreadful. If that is the case we are far better
stating that we don't endorse it which I think this time may carry
considerable weight. WHO does not wan t a charter that PHM publicly
rejects. Thanks ALison

Following on from the PHM submission on the draft Bangkok Charter on
Health Promotion, you may be aware that the Bangkok Conference is next
week (7th-11th August). Alison Blaiklock (New Zealand) and Thelma
Narayan (PHM India) are attending and would be keen to hear from any
other PHM members or supporters who will be there. 

As such, if there are any others on the list who would be interested in
working together in Bangkok to improve the draft in line with the PHM
submission, could you please identify yourselves and where you will be
staying, either to the list or to Alison directly at
alisonb at hpforum.org.nz?
