An opportunity you will not want to miss!

In a little over two weeks, the Second People's Health Assembly will be underway at Cuenca. A thousand delegates from over 75 countries have registered for the assembly, which already promises to be a very special gathering. However, there are many committed activists who are unable to raise funds to travel to Cuenca. And as PHM is not a foundation, funds are quite limited. The good news is that a relatively small amount would take care of a significant expense at the assembly.

For example, a contribution of $100 can cover

· Food and accommodation for an activist from the global south

· Or cover all travel expenses within Ecuador.

· Or the registration fees for 4 activists from developing countries

· Or pay for lunch or coffee breaks of four delegates for five days

At this point, as a tangible and practical gesture of solidarity we are requesting donations from individuals and organizations. We encourage everyone to pitch in. Never let it be said that you missed a chance to participate in the mobilization for the Second People's Health Assembly!
