> This is the final communication from the secretariat regarding the PHM
> events and initiatives at WHA from 15th to 24th May 2005.It draws from the

> opportunity for interactive dialogue and solidarity with PHM and all its

> A.     The Objectives of PHM presence
>     1.. PHA 2 International Organizational Committee meeting in Geneva to
> continue planning process.
>     2.. Use opportunities to link with all the supportive networks and
> individuals, who may contribute or participate in PHA 2.
>     3.. To announce GHW and PHA 2 and introduce PHM in as many fora and
sessions as possible.
>     4.. To explore a strong support and presence of WHO / WHO units  / WHO
regions / WHO Commission etc, at PHA 2 - including Dr. Mahler / Dr. Lee /
Dr. Mirta Roses / Dr. Michael Marmot and others.
>     5.. To explore the potential of a Global Right to Health Campaign by
> PHM (to be discussed at PHA 2), with support of UN (Paul Hunt) and WHO
(Dr. Lee or specific units).
>     6.. Support PHM related or associated networks in their advocacy
> efforts at WHA 2005.
>     7.. Respond to specific requests by other networks for participation,
> inputs, solidarity in their sessions.
>     8.. This is a Budget year for WHO - so there will be plenty of
> critical issues in the WHA discussion for PHM to give time and energy
> to input into WHA.
