ActionAid's Get on Board campaign had a lively launch in Johan-
nesburg last week, spearheaded by a Johannesburg to G8 bus. The
campaign is to make sure that the leaders of the world's most
industrialised countries (G8) hear the concerns of African peo-
ple at the summit in Scotland in July. The bus left Johannesburg
last week and will visit South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, Tan-
zania, and Kenya on its 12 000 km journey to Scotland. On its
way, it will collect messages from African people to the world
leaders who will be discussing ways of ending poverty in Africa.
