The beatings and harrassment of Dr Mustafa Barghouti, a candidate for
President of Palestine, by the Israeli military has shocked Australians.


 

Dr Barghouti is renowned as a leader in the struggle for better health
for the Palestinian people and as president would be a powerful force
for peace with justice. 

 

The perpetrators of these human rights violations should be arrested and
brought to trial.
