Dear All

The Hungarian people will vote in a landmark
referendum on Dec 5, 2004 to determine whether their
hospitals and surgeries will be privatised or not. The
potential privatisation of these services will be the
start of privatisation of the whole of their health
system. The current health system is far from perfect
but privatisation will only make it worse.

Campaigners fighting against the privatisation of
these public goods have collected 300 000 signatures
and have now appealed to the People's Health Movement
Europe and the European Network for the Right to
Health to support their efforts. We have drafted a
letter of support to them. Please help us support
their efforts by signing the letter, go to
http://www.petitiononline.com/London/petition.html

To sign the letter on behalf of an organisation, put
the name of the organisation in the space for
comments. You may also send a letter of support
directly to Simo Endre, one of the organisers of the
anti-privatisation campaign on drsimoendre at freemail.hu

Yours Sincerely
People's Health Movement- Europe
