Dear Friends:

The police today indiscriminantly used lathi Charge, tear Gas and Rifle bullets in several parts of Kathmandu over  the peaceful demonstration of around one hundred thousand people who were protesting against regression.  Around 100 peple have been injured so far including the speaker of Nepali Congress Mr. Ram Chandra Paudel . So far the injured demonstrators admitted in the hospitals are - 45 in the Kathmandu Model Hospital, 3 in the Capital Hospital, 12 in the Bir Hospital and rest are in the Zfont Clinic. Three of them have bullet wound. Those who are shot include Mr. Shanker Dhoj Nemwang who was shot in the right infraorbital region. There is a entry bullet and no exit. Another person is Mr. Tilak Pariyar over left neck, and name of the other person is not known. You will be updated after some time. Please propagate this message of police brutality over the peaceful demonstration.
