WTO Food and Nutritional Security: a Global Concern

On the 12th of September Wemos Foundation and ICCO will organise a workshop
on Food and Nutritional Security, in Cancun, Mexico.

The workshop is a result of a joint advocacy towards the WTO Ministerial
Conference Cancún, by civil society groups and organisations, interested in
Food, Nutrition, Trade and Health issues.

Southern and Northern partners will address their national governments and
the relevant regional organisations or trade blocks (e.g. European Union or
SADC) aiming at the following:
-National governments (or regional organisations or trade blocks) take
active steps to guarantee access to healthy nutrition for all women and men
during WTO trade negotiations and when the outcomes of these negotiations
are implemented.

Place: Hotel Sierra, Av. Kukulcan Km. 10, Zona Hotelera, Cancún.
