control in pregnancy

PREMA-EU: A network dealing with the problem of malaria control in
pregnant
women (apologies for any cross-posting)

PREMA-EU is a concerted action, founded a year ago, which aims to
reduce the
burden of disease caused by malaria and anaemia in pregnant
women and
children. PREMA aims to achieve this through sharing information
on the
'state of the art' concerning malaria and anaemia in pregnancy, and
through
promoting the implementation of research findings into feasible
interventions. PREMA-EU intends to open its activities to health
managers,
Ministry of Health staff, sociologists, scientists and policy makers.

Please have a look at our newly developed website
<http://www.prema-eu.org/> to see what has been achieved in this
first year,
read recent publications and see how you can contribute
<http://www.prema-eu.org/prprojects.htm>.

If you would like to be kept informed of PREMA's activities, please
register
via the web site. If you have difficulties in accessing electronic
documents you can write to: Dr Francine Verhoeff, PREMA
Manager, Liverpool
School of Tropical Medicine, Pembroke Place, Liverpool L3 5QA,
