  1.. It is necessary to have academic / intellectual studies and discourses to support the policy, decision and action to provide for essential health care. The lack of honest studies can hinder adoption of appropriate policy and action. The concepts of equity and ethics must be brought out repeatedly so that they can be followed. Without them, we will be worse off; the rich will continue to be richer.


  2.. It is essential that we should work towards 'health as a fundamental right'. It seems to be an opportune time, with movements for health as a right in many countries. If education is a fundamental right (constitution amendment 93), why can't we have health as a fundamental right?
