PHA-Exchange> R: Request articles on poverty, health and development

Dear all,

Greetings from AIFO in Bologna, Italy.

We are planning the next issue of our periodic publication - Health
cooperation papers, planned for Spring 2003. The theme of the publication is
Poverty, health and development. We are looking for small articles around
this theme. For example the articles can be about:

- Personal experiences of growing up with poverty and what it meant for
daily life
- Experiences of working with poor and excluded population groups,
especially for health-related activities
- successful strategies or failures in implementing activities aimed at poor
population groups and the lessons learnt
- different concepts of development in different contexts and cultures
- poverty and gender

The above are only examples and articles can also be on other related
aspects.

The article should be around 1000-3000 words and should be submitted before
15 December 2002 only be email. The publication is for free distribution and
no payment is foreseen for the ocntributors. However, if your article will
be selected for publication, you are entitled to 10 free copies of the book.
