Your email was forworded to me by a colleague.
I am very interested in this initiative, and would like to stay in the
loop so that I could do what I can to be part of its development.
I was invited to the re-visit of the Declaration in 1998 (20 years
since Almaty Declaration), when a group got together at Almaty.I think
the meeting was convened by WHO. I could not attend this historical
meeting as my plane could not land at Almaty because of a snow
blizzard. However, I read the papers that were to be discussed, and I
thought they were very insightful.
I don't have a copy of the proceedings of that meeting. But, I think I
may have a copy of the review of the PHC Declaration that took place in
Riga, in 1988.
