We are proud to announce the final programme of 4th International
Conference on Priorities in Health Care, Oslo, Norway 18 - 20 September
2002, see <http://www.healthpriorities.org/> www.healthpriorities.org

The programme includes talks by economist Jeffrey Sachs, human rights
activist Nawar el Sadaawi, philosopher Norman Daniels, as well as Chris
Murray from the WHO and Davidson Gwatkin from the World Bank who all
from different viewpoints address the challenge of how to allocate
scarce resources wisely.

A specially commissioned study from Dag Album examines how the prestige
of different disorders affects their priority. The main sessions will
present the latest developments in the theory and practice of priority
setting.

Of special interest are two sessions that present and open the debate
over recent priority setting initiatives from the World Bank and WHO.

For more details, see our programme on the web. The deadline for the
lower registration fee is the 22nd of July.

Welcome to Oslo!
