Dear  friends,

I hereby request you all put your efforts
together to produce short 2page documents for information, advocacy and
lobbying at WHO-WHA.  It is a short notice alright but PHA – PHM has
thrived on voluntarism, creativity and collectivity which has always
been fruitful.  There are many ideas already but the simplest in the
present circumstances would be to redo the Peoples Health Charter
interspersing the charter paragraph with short box items on all that
has gone on after PHA-Savar meetings, resolutions, campaigns, protests,
websites, conferences, publications, statements, etc., etc.  We have
been getting lots of it on the mail PHA 2001; PHA NCC (India) and PHA
Exchange.  We could start by putting what we have together but perhaps
all of you could look into the information / data you have already got
and send me and pha-exchange short summarised box items to begin with.

By 15th we will send out all that we have received.  Then you can
decide on further editing / presentation or whatever.

I tried to get Contact magazine to give us a special issue of 28 pages
dedicated to PHM but this is not possible till we get a sponsor.  It is
5000$ for 10000 copies.  Any other ideas?  Even if we have to
mimeograph it- it will need money.
